  • Technical information: your IP address and browser details, which are recorded by the website host to keep the site secure and working properly.

Please do not send sensitive personal information, such as details about your health, through the contact form or by email. If you are enquiring about dramatherapy, please visit www.creativesolutionstherapy.org.

I will never sell your personal information or use it for marketing without your clear consent.

4. My lawful basis for using your information

Under UK data protection law I must have a lawful basis for using your personal information. The bases I rely on are:

Cookies are small files placed on your device when you visit a website. This website uses:

  • Essential cookies, which are needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choices. These do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies, which help me understand how the site is used. I use Google Analytics (through the MonsterInsights plugin) and Jetpack Stats. These cookies are only set if you click Accept on the cookie banner.

You can change your cookie choices at any time through the cookie settings link at the bottom of each page. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. For full details of the cookies used, please see the Cookie Policy page.

6. Who I share your information with

I do not share your personal information with anyone except the trusted service providers that help me run this website, and only as far as needed:

  • Website hosting: Bluehost, which stores the website and its data.

  • Email: my email provider, which stores messages you send me.

These providers act on my instructions and must keep your information secure. I may also share information if required to do so by law.

7. International transfers

Some of my service providers, including Bluehost, Google and Automattic, may store or process information outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where this happens, I make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

  • Enquiries and correspondence are kept for up to two years after our last contact, unless they lead to work together.
  • Records relating to work I have carried out are kept for up to six years, to meet tax and legal requirements.
  • Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.

After these periods your information is securely deleted.

9. Keeping your information secure

I take sensible steps to protect your personal information, including using a secure (HTTPS) connection on this website, strong passwords and keeping website software up to date. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, but I do my best to protect any information you share with me.
