Youth Theatre

                                                                               30 years of Jigsaw Youth Theatre!

Youth Theatre was the starting point for everything I do now. I joined Jigsaw Youth Theatre ( in 1978 at the age of 13, little knowing the effect it would have upon me. I attended many national youth theatre festivals, and the Edinburgh festival, and joined the National Youth Theatre.

I returned to Jigsaw when I completed my drama degree, and became one of Jigsaw's group leaders. I was Chair Person of Jigsaw from 1998 to 2004 - now a registered Charity.

I had the great privilege of attending the 30th Anniversary celebrations on October 10th 2005 with two former members Christian Dixon and Colin Mantle. We shared a table with the mayor.

Jigsaw regularly works with over 200 young people a week, using drama as a way of looking at social issues and developing young peoples personal and social skills.
